Our club received a grant from the district to purchase books for 2nd graders that we read with in our Rockford Reads program. Due to COVID and not being able to be in the schools, we decided to distribute the books to each of the 2nd and 3rd grade teachers in RPS 205. The book is “What Do You Do With an Idea?” which introduces the concept of ideas and having the courage to implement them. We had volunteers visit each of the grade schools to distribute these books on March 16. The books were received by teachers and principals, and even students at one school. The teachers were excited about receiving these. We have received several thank you notes from the schools since then.
