Past District Governor and current District Foundation Chair, Kathy Kwiat-Hess presented Past District Governor Jim Nelson with his Rotary International Foundation Major Donor recognition.  A Major Donor is recognized for giving at least $10,000 in actual dollars to the Foundation.  Many Paul Harris Fellows have reached various levels with points donated by other Paul Harris Fellows and these do not count toward the Major Donor level.
Jim urged other Rotarians to continue to donate to the Foundation.  He also mentioned that it has only taken him 38 years to become a Major Donor.  As they say in sailing, slow and steady wins the race.  Congratulations Jim on your achievement.
