Mark Podemski acquired the Rockford Region's Comfort Keepers Franchise in November of 2016 which is the leading provider of in-home senior care in Northern Illinois and Southern Wisconsin. Comfort Keepers elevates the human spirit for today's seniors and their families through a unique, individualized approach to care that helps seniors thrive and achieve greater wellbeing by fostering everyday positive moments, connection and a more purposeful life no matter their age or acuity.
Prior to this Mark was Vice President for Development at the Rockford Area Economic Development Council helping drive regional collaboration resulting in significantly improved economic performance within our region. During the 10 years at RAEDC, Mark was the primary liaison to the manufacturing community and led the broad implementation of a best-in-class business expansion, retention and visitation program.
Previous to this, he had spent nearly 20 years at Honeywell in a variety of leadership roles. Mark is an energetic and insightful business leader with extensive experience in Marketing, Sales, Factory Operations, Engineering Management, Financial Analysis, Strategic Planning, and Process Development Improvement.
Mark holds a BS-Mechanical Engineering degree from the University of Wisconsin in Madison and an MBA from Babson College in Wellesley, MA.
