Our goal for the Rotary International Foundation giving for the 2022-23 year is $15,000.  We have surpassed our goal and donations are still coming in.  We will have a complete list of donors in the near future.

 

     Donations for the 2022-23 Year must reach Rotary International by June 30th, so there is not much time to make your donation.

     The rain garden that our Rotary club planted perennials in last year is in need of TLC.

     If you have the time and strength, we will be weeding and possibly mulching that garden Thursday June 22nd following our regular weekly meeting.

     Please wear appropriate clothing and bring any hand tools that you prefer for weed removal. Also, provide your own water/beverage. Working gloves will be provided for those needing any.

     Our rain date, pun not intended, is the following Thursday, June 29th.

     How can we conserve for a better tomorrow

June 22nd Meeting

 

     Our June 22nd meeting will be open for committee meetings.  Committee chairs will be contacting their members with details.  For you gardeners and wannabe gardeners, the Environmental Committee will be working on our gardens at Memorial Hall, weeding and making them look good.  All are invited to participate. 

 

 

     Our annual tradition of the Order of the Shelf will continue this year with Roast Master Paul Logli leading the festivities as we "welcome" Pete Rundquist as our 2023-24 President.  This should be a fun meeting because Paul and his gang will be using material supplied by Pete's wife Becky.  Please join us for the fun in person at Memorial Hall or via zoom.

     Our June 15th program was a presentation about the new Perks Indoor Equine Center at Lockwood Park.  Jen Wenberg, the Manager of Lockwood Park, talked about "Hope and Healing with Horses", and the way horses can help with mental health treatment.
