     The following is a note from Karl Jacobs.

 

     Dear President Lina and Fellow Rotarians 

 

     Thank you for recognizing my fifty years as a Rockford Rotarian. Carol appreciated joining me.

 

     I would never would have anticipated the Mayor of Rockford's recognition, the generous contribution to the Rotary Foundation and also all the kind words extended by fellow Rotarians.

 

     All of you made it a wonderful day that I will not forget.
